 EXTRAORDINARY SHAREHOLDERS’ MEETING

By agreement of the Board of Directors of Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile S.A. (SQM) (the “Company”), an Extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting has been summoned for 10:00 a.m. on March 21, 2024 (the “Meeting”), at our corporate offices located at El Trovador 4285, commune of Las Condes, to provide information related to the following matters:

  1. The status of the negotiations between the Company and the National Copper Corporation of Chile (Codelco), as detailed in the Memorandum of Understanding dated December 27, 2023.
  2.  Details of the acts and contracts that are expected to be carried out and executed under the aforementioned memorandum, including the assets involved and the corporate steps necessary for the implementation of said acts and contracts.
  3. Any other matter of interest concerning the same subjects.

PARTICIPATION IN MEETING

The shareholders, who are registered in SQM’s Shareholders’ Registry at least five business days before the Meeting, are entitled to participate in the Meeting.

Remote participation will be allowed through a platform provided by e-voting. Interested shareholders or legal representatives who wish to participate should send an email to the following address: asistencia.junta@sqm.com until the day before the Meeting expressing interest in remote participation in the Meeting. The email must include a scanned copy of both sides of your legal identification card and if necessary, a copy of the power of attorney, and the email of the shareholder or legal representative. Access to the platform to attend and vote remotely will be available on the website: https://juntasqm.evoting.cl.

QUALIFICATION AND RECEPTION OF POWERS OF ATTORNEY

The qualification of powers of attorney, if applicable, shall be carried out on the same day and place of the Meeting from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. The reception process of powers of attorney who will physically attend the meeting will start on March 7, 2024, via the email asistencia.junta@sqm.com.
